Total miles sailed, 6,091.

Well, Bora Bora did not disappoint. It is truly a magical place. I've had this location on my "hit" list since reading Jimmy Buffett's "Tales from Margaritaville". My love of water came from years of swim lessons and summers at Cobbetts Pond, but my wander lust and love of palm trees can be blamed on Jimmy. Changes in lattitudes, definitely changes ones attitude.

It is a rustic, quiet island with kind, smiling locals. Their island French is beautiful to the ear. Adventures included a glass bottom boat tour, a walk on Matira beach and a couple of cocktails at Bloody Mary's. I learned/adopted a new mantra from a group of ladies on the glass bottom boat... "Adventure before Dimentia-er"!

I'm somewhat capable of cropping a picture, but have no idea how to filter or make other modifications; they are pretty much WYSIWYG (who's nerd enough to name that acronym?). Once you've seen the pictures, you'll understand why I seriously considered jumping ship.

Just another day in the South Pacific:
